NIV Bible App Reviews

Excellent

I have several Bible apps but find this ones typography is the most easy on the eyes to read, not to mention very nice features.

Wonderful App Ever

The newer version of this App is just wonderful. Highly recommended.

Two bibles at once

I enjoy the ability to read two versions of the bible at the same time. Currently I have the NIV and the Spanish NVI open simultaneously.

Best Bible App

I searched high and low in the App Store for a good Bible app. Many require a constant Internet connection. Many also clutter the experience with Facebook and Twitter integration. What happened to just the Bible? Then I found this app … and its everything I was looking for. Translations I download/purchase are available offline, but if I want to read a different translation without buying it, I have access to Tecartas entire online library. Truly the best of both worlds. Great app!

Love it

This is the only bible I use now. Easy to read and navigate. And the NIV is the best version, IMO. Future development idea would be to integrate optional commentaries you could buy separately and add in.

Great bible app

This app is easy to use with many features

Great book

Excellent study bible

Solid

Superb, there are a ton of options and cross comparability between all of my devices (and I have a lot). Its great that I can start a study on my phone going to work, and finish it on my tablet when I get home. Praise God for his living Word.

Amen!

A wonderful Bible. With everything one needs, its the Bible I use the most. Some others are also very good, but this is the best because of its unlimited resources.

Very useful

I can write a lot of notes in their folders & categorize them under different subject. Can use the same app in my iPhone & iPad. It can sync what I have highlighted & written interchangeably.

NIV Bible

Cant upload to my ipodtouch only to my itune computer....why is it? I tryied many times.

downloaded the app to my itunes app folder it will not sync with my new itouch. it says that it needs a new iphone model

Mr

Must have Application

Easy to use but with a few teaks it can be close to perfect for what it offers

Pretty fast basic bible app. Has some problems scrolling in the note panel when in landscape mode but in fairness to the developer, I havent contacted them about it. If it had more formatting tools in the note taking section like bold text or lists, it would be much better. I havent contacted the developer about this wish either. Thank you for a pretty good bible app. I use Accordance for the heavy stuff but reuse this to write my messages.

God Bless

Continue on serving God

Dislike

Have loved this app. Hate the page turn nonsense.

Outstanding Bible App

This Bible App is a beautifully crafted piece of work. Very lean, clean and with fantastic font visuals. I greatly appreciate the devotional content and how they seamlessly get embedded in the scripture as youre reading. And even though it may not seem like much but I also like how the text highlighting visuals were executed on this app. They actually look like genuine highlight marks, haha. My biggest critique which really isnt much at all is just the wish of being able to change translations without having to bring up the full content menu all the time. I keep tapping on the Text-to-Speech pop-up menu thinking its going to provide me an outlet to quickly toggle between translations that Ive purchased because its always displaying the translation that Im currently viewing. Another critique is just the wish for more devotional content under different translations than just strictly NIV. Overall though, the thought put into this app is outstanding! Keep up the great work!

GreatApp but dont get this update

Crashes every time I open it. Great bible app when it works

The best bible app

I will said this is my 2nd best bible app out there. I have a number 1# but cant say what it is.

Downgraded since the "upgrade"

Used to be my favorite Bible app, but I dont like the last "upgrade." No longer can I scroll top to bottom through an entire chapter. Now Im forced to flip pages (if I wanted a book, Id carry a book). The problem with the new method is when a sentence is broken at the end of a page, you flip to the next page. It was easier to just keep scrolling down, and it was no effort to read back to the beginning of the sentence...or verse...or paragraph. Now its flip, flip, flip. Give me back scrolling, please.
